Honey Say's.....
Hi guy's; Honey here. My mom's been so busy shoveling snow and working that I actually made her take two minutes today to take a picture of me and my favorite baby. I wore the stupid Santa Hat to see her smile. She's a goof sometimes, always bragging about what a perfect dog I am. Blah, blah, blah...but I love her she is my best friend afterall. And we do have a good life together. She takes me to work with her almost every day and we always go for a short walk mid day so I can relieve myself and sniff the yard to see who's been visiting the hospital. I get the whole back seat of our car and she lets me stick my head out the window if I want. I have a special run in the kennel but sometimes the loud dogs visiting the kennel bother me and make me upset. Don't ask me how she knows but she always takes me downstairs into her grooming room and puts me in a cage with a fluffy blankey and water. I like the quiet.
My mom's pretty cool when it comes to my food too. She's quite fussy about what I eat. Mmmm, she knows how much I love to eat and buys me a big bag of "Taste of the Wild" everytime. Though the baths are not something I choose to do I'm good for her because I do feel better after I'm all dry and she brushes my coat. She's fussy about that too....always has to trim my toenails. Yuck! I don't like that part but I tolerate it. I figure if she's gotta pick up my poops in the yard the least I can do is sit still for that.
But I love my mom. I insist on laying next to the bathtub while she's in the shower and sleeping on my bed next to hers during the night. (just in case she needs me) When she takes me out for our walks in the woods I will always keep her in sight or at least be within earshot. She needs me to watch over her and I love nothing better than to do that. Lot's of times she talks to me and she thinks I don't know what she's saying, but I do. I hear not words but I hear her heart. And I just want to say that all of you here on Vox that are her friends mean so much to her. She marvels at wonderful photographs, videos, written stories of your lives and observations. My mom always says "oh what a funny story" or "wow, very nice shot" when she's here. So, I figured I'd get my picture up on a post for her and maybe let you all know that we both wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas.
Peace to All,
Honey

I like this line-'I figure if she's gotta pick up my poops in the yard the least I can do is sit still for that.'
Merry Christmas!
